Cumuli agli occhi, vapore al cuore. Sguardo intenso, denso animo. È che in questo stato, io vivo, le lacrime spente m’accendono la pelle. Rovente lo scritto dal ventre, audace il canto dalle gote. Che siano pur lunghe, le attese, purché mai vane, ch’io possa toccarle con bocca nuda e ch’io possa mutarle in prelibatezze ai passanti di questa piccante vita.

Piles in the eyes, steam in the heart. Intense gaze, dense soul. It is that in this state, I live, dead tears light up my skin. The writing from the belly is hot, the cheek from the cheeks is bold. Even if the expectations are long, provided they are never in vain, that I can touch them with a naked mouth and that I can change them into delicacies to passers-by of this spicy life.
